Brenda's Yummy Pork Recipe

My Cafe Rio night consists of several different recipes, all super-easy!

Cafe Rio Pork Barbacoa

5-6 lb. pork roast

21 oz. Dr. Pepper (or Coke, do NOT use diet soda)
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
7 oz. can chipotle chilies in adobo sauce
6-ish oz. red taco sauce (I used hot)
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Brenda used – pork, 20 oz. coke, 1 c. brown sugar, cumin, and a package of taco seasoning only!

We decided to move the BBQ to Saturday, July 18th, due to some people being gone.

Hey Everyone!
July we don't read a book and have a BBQ! You can bring a spouse, friend, or just come alone. Just bring something to grill and a side dish it will just be potluck! I will provide everything else. It will be Tuesday, July 14th at Amberlie's home. Email me if you need directions to my house!

April Book Club

In April, our book is "The Life of Pi" by Yann Martel. It will be held at Canesa's house.
